Background & Challenge:

Stratus Video Telehealth is a health program management business that combines video, email and secure messaging communication modalities for healthcare organizations to address specific patient/member needs easily, efficiently, and seamlessly. This sophisticated platform automates and optimizes workflows across multiple modalities. This creates more valuable connections and more effective care, while bringing convenience and peace of mind to patients/members. The company helps enable better performance for healthcare organizations, better access for patients/members, and better outcomes for all. In 2017, WANT was retained to work alongside MBLM to create name options to rebrand Stratus Video.

Solution:

Following a rapid, 4-week phase of work, a shortlist of names was identified. Following trademark searches and URL acquisition, a new dynamic 5 letter name – SYNZI – was selected. This new name derived from ‘synergy’ is modern, fresh and energetic for this bold new technology platform.

Outcome:

The new brand is performing well having been well received by customers and acknowledged by peers. In June 2018, Synzi announced that its virtual care communication platform had been selected as the winner of the “Virtual Care Innovation Award” from MedTech Breakthrough, The MedTech Breakthrough Awards program, is devoted to honoring excellence in medical and health related technology companies, products and people.
