Background / Challenge:
LexisNexis is a leading global provider of legal, regulatory and business information, and analytics. It boasts as the world’s largest electronic database for legal and public-records related information—that help professional customers make more informed decisions, increase productivity and serve their clients better.
LexisNexis approached us during their ongoing transition to purely digital with a request to name and help organize their new digital product platform across all 39 markets in a cohesive way. This new platform would encompass many of their existing products, and serve as the foundation for numerous future products, features and offerings.
Solution:
After mapping out all their offerings across all their different geographical locations, we consolidated and realigned everything against one single platform, creating clear hierarchy and consistency. We also created a detailed name decision-making and creation tool to help guide future naming endeavors, and maintain the consistency we helped create, even after our job was done.
Outcome:
The result of our work was LexisNexis’s new “Lexis Advance” platform, a simple, consistent, user-focused suite of offerings, which has enjoyed a 32% increase in usage over the past 4 years.
