EG Medical announced today the change in its corporate name to “Atalys”. As part of the name change, the company has released a new corporate logo and launched a new website at

Atalys is a vertically integrated manufacturing platform for the medical device and life sciences industry with R&D, engineering, mold-making, and production expertise across the entire manufacturing process to deliver highly engineered critical components and high-precision life-saving parts.

They approached WANT in need of a partner that could create a unique tagline, name and identity.

The company’s new name is derived from, and is pronounced the same way as, the word “catalyst.” It embodies the positive impact and change the company strives to bring to its OEM partners and the patients they serve.

The 3-sided symbol of the logo reflects the symbiotic partnership between the company and its OEM customers and vendors. It also symbolizes the exact nature of how the company approaches manufacturing challenges and, more importantly, the engineering innovation enabled by passion and precision to create state-of-the-art components and products for critical life sciences and health care applications such as MIS (minimally invasive surgery) and RAS (robotic-assisted surgery), as well as other high precision consumer and industrial products.

“Our change into a new name marks an important point in the evolution of our company,” remarked Vinc Ellerbrock, President and CEO. “Over the years, we’ve developed several core competencies in providing services and expertise in the production of highly complex and extreme precision parts for our customers in the medical device and diagnostics, life sciences, and consumer/industrial markets.

“With this corporate name change, we want to clearly emphasize our patient-first orientation as a company, our unique value proposition, and our dedication to the success of our customers,” he added.
